The Maltese Holiday is a book adaptation of the film, The Maltese Holiday, about two strangers that travel alone to Malta because their original plans fell through, and they end up meeting each other and after a cold welcome from both of them, the Christmas spirit warms their hearts and they fall in love. The cover uses the same graphics from the movie poster to keep the overall identity.

OUR PROCESS
The book cover depicts the beautiful scenery of Malta, the romance that evolves between the two main characters, and the festive season of Christmas. The design overall is in the style of a postcard, to enhance the travel theme and to allow for Christmas decorations around the edge of the postcard. With Malta being a central element to the story, the setting shows off the beautiful cliffs and ocean. The title treatment is festive and fun, and the colors are very bright and lively, blending Christmas with travel.
