Motion Graphics created for the short film, The Art of Hosting, about a writer that can’t publish her book and wants to end her life.
This is a dark comedic short film about writer that isn’t able to get her book published. We created the title card for the film, focusing on the quirky tone while also depicting the sadness and struggle. The flowers were hand drawn and animated, as well as the text. We chose to have one of the flowers decay to represent the theme of death and sadness througout the short film.
