Visual Effects created for the film, Maysville, about a boy who loses his best friend and is taken from his family, but ends up finding himself and finding love.
This is a period film, set in the 1920’s, about a boy who loses his best friend. Out of revenge, his friend’s dad kidnaps him and forces him to live a life of hard labor. He escapes years later to make a life of his own and fall in love in the process. There were 100 total visual effects shots, mostly comprised of compositing for object removal and coverups. The programs used to complete the work were Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Davinci Resolve.
