Logo created for the blog Crafty Scales, centered around arts and crafts from an artist that also has a love of reptiles.
Crafty Scales is the name of a blog created to provide useful information about art and design, including projects, tutorials, facts and experiences. The artist that created the blog also has a love for reptiles, hence the name.

OUR PROCESS
This logo was created to represent an artistic brand, which is why we chose to use the watercolor texture in the circle element. The artist wanted a very soft and inviting feel to the logo, so we chose to go with calming blues and greens. The artist also wanted reptiles incorporated, so we chose to create the lizard graphical element. We wanted to incorporate it with the logo, not just as a standalone graphic, so we chose to use the tale as a separator between the two words.
