Baking Up Love – film poster

Poster created for the cute drama, Baking up Love, about a small town bake-off and a baker that wants to step up to the plate and win.

This film centers around the town bake-off that is being held, and the main character Lynn wants to win it. During the film, Lynn finds herself caught in a love triangle and has to choose who to be with. Both of these story elements were important to display on the poster. We focused on Lynn and the 2 love interests as the characters, while also showing the bakery in the background. We wanted to make sure it felt lighthearted and fun primarily.

OUR PROCESS

As a leading theme throughout the film, we wanted to make sure that baking was prominent while also focusing on the other major theme, the romantic love triangle that Lynn finds herself in. The colors needed to be bright and uplifting. We chose to make the title big and bold, adding in the small bit out of the O to tie in the baking theme and the heart in the middle of the O to tie in the love triangle.
